The Fast Track Practical Nursing Program is a terminal practical nurse program for college credit.  This program is also available through the Bilingual Nurse Fellowship Program .

The Fast Track Practical Nursing Program curriculum provides students with the theory and skills required to practice as practical nurses in acute care, extended care, intermediate care, and community settings. The program of study combines nursing theory lectures with planned patient care learning experiences in hospitals, nursing homes, and community health care agencies. The curriculum encompasses concepts in behavioral and life sciences to provide the appropriate background to study practical nursing.

The Fast Track Practical Nursing Program is a separate program within the structure of the Maricopa Community College District (MCCD) Nursing Program. The mission, vision, and philosophy are shared. The program objectives of Fast Track Practical Nursing Program are consistent with the program objectives of the practical nursing level of the MCCD Nursing Program. Students completing the Fast Track Practical Nursing Program may enter the second year (Block 3) of the MCCD Nursing Program after completing the prerequisite general education courses.
